I used it on a medium set of heat and it worked very well, I have shoulder length thin hair.  It is very easy to use and it doesn’t burn your scalp or your hands. The tips of the brush have a unique style to massage and keeping the heat out of the scalp.  I tried in on my daughter that has a lot of unmanageable hair and it worked great, I used it on the highest setting though.  It is really great for having salon hair every day without having to sleep with bobby pins all around your head to keep it from getting waves. This shampoo has a great fruity smell. A little goes a long way. I have five dogs and two cats. The Chihuahuas are always clean, even though I have two with long hair. The challenge is an elderly English Bulldog that doesn’t like to move and sweats a lot, and a young beagle that likes to run around and play all day.  I used the product in one of my Chihuahuas and it left the coat wet but just for a moment, it dried and it left the hair smelling fresh and looking good. I used a small amount so the smell was not overpowering.  Used it on the smelly beagle and it just mixed the dog smell with the product smell, so this is not for washing it, it is for maintaining them clean.
