Not only is it convenient to carry around because of the slick design, thin monitor and carrying case, this also has an in-built battery that you can charge and not worry that the batteries will leak or defective.
I have a few of these guys at home, and I verified the measurement with all and a manual one, and it was quite accurate. I suffer from high blood pressure for almost 20 years and it runs in the family so I can give a clear account of the item.
Love that it doesn't take to long for the pump to inflate the cuff and the new feature that detects irregular heartbeat is great.
This is mostly to take on travel or to keep with you at work. It gives peace of mind when you aren't feeling too well.
With all of this said, remember that a health care provider is the best to deal with high-blood pressure and this equipment is to monitor and seek help if there is a problem.
