It is very smooth, and is well absorbed by the skin. I have been using this retinol cream for about a week or so, and m skin feels tighter and I can see a reduction on fine lines. I'm very surprised of how fast you can see positive results. I have sensitive skin and the first few days I applied it, I felt a bit of burning sensation that faded quite quickly. I must say that it is worth it. The smell is not overpowering and it is a bit pleasant. Love that it has no added perfumes or color, it is cruelty free and made in the US. It says to apply twice daily but I only use it at night after cleaning my face and neck and also I use a gold tip face wand to help with the circulation and absorption of this face cream.   After applying it, the skin is very soft without any greasy or sticky feeling.
