I’ve been seeing a lot of articles referring to the benefits of turmeric in the last month, and by coincidence was invited to try Turmerex (triple-action adaptogen) which contains 95% of turmeric. The presentation is a bottle containing 60 capsules of 750mg each, to be taken one daily, so it’s two month worth of said supplement.
After researching the benefits
and side effects of this plant, it’s amazing how we are just hearing of this
now!
The benefits are (according to
webmd):
Turmeric is used for arthritis,
heartburn (dyspepsia), stomach pain, diarrhea, intestinal gas, stomach bloating,
loss of appetite, jaundice, liver problems and gallbladder disorders.
It is also used for headaches,
bronchitis, colds, lung infections, fibromyalgia, leprosy, fever, menstrual
problems, and cancer. Other uses include depression, Alzheimer’s disease, water
retention, worms, and kidney problems.
Some people apply turmeric to the
skin for pain, ringworm, bruising, leech bites, eye infections, inflammatory
skin conditions, soreness inside of the mouth, and infected wounds.
Side effects: none
Interactions: Medications that
slow blood clotting (Anticoagulant / Antiplatelet drugs) interacts with
TURMERIC
Turmeric might slow blood
clotting. Taking turmeric along with medications that also slow clotting might
increase the chances of bruising and bleeding.
Some medications that slow blood
clotting include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), diclofenac (Voltaren, Cataflam,
others), ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others), naproxen (Anaprox, Naprosyn,
others), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, warfarin
(Coumadin), and others.
Essentially turmeric is an anti-inflammatory.
And since there are so many benefits I started to take this amazing supplement,
and so far so good, the capsules are easy to swallow and are completely natural.
Nice to have a healthy natural option to all those ailments.
Note: I received this product
free in exchange for my un-biased review.
